It's family reunion time
Way down in Caroline........
Where the gang will all gather,
To exchange hugs and laughter.
It's our second annual affair,
To be together and share.
Our stories of past days,
Since we last met this way.
A newborn will be there to meet,
A cute little girl so sweet.
The first for this Nephew and wife,
A gift to brighten their life.
Pictures will be snapped,
And later a show to re-cap.
This day of chatter and fun,
For each and everyone.
The weather I hear will be HOT!!
But, not to hinder this lot.
Our meeting will be comfy and cool,
In the church fellowship school.
Hotdogs and burgers hot off the grill,
With all the trimmings to fill.
Chips with dip, goodies to eat,
From entree's to something sweet.
Excitement is in the air,
Looking forward to being there.
Fun for little ones as well,
Games to play, it will be swell.
A family affair is a special time,
Glad I will be joining mine.
A new report will follow next week,
With the latest news, of our meet.
