"Enough to Die"

My mouth shall speak Thy praises
My lips declare Thy grace
That ransomed one so lost to sin
And bowed down in disgrace

My heart shall swell in thankfulness
When ‘ere I hear Thy Name
For it was Thee who pardoned me
And boldly bore my blame

I marvel at the majesty
Of God who reigns on high
Who left His throne to bear a cross
And loved enough to die

“Love of the Cross”

To love those who are hurting
Is an easy thing to do
To love those who love you
Takes no bridled attitude

To love those who have worldly goods
May take a spot of care
To love those who have used you
Will cause your flesh to tear

To love all those who hate you
Will bring you to your knees
For this is not a love that comes
Easy as you please

And loving those befriended
Who cheated you and lied
Will bring you all at once unto
The humble Savior’s side

For love is not of fallen man
Who winces with each loss
Love is only found in those
Who glory in the Cross

“Never”

Never shall I ere forget
The love You have for me
Never shall my tongue proclaim
Another Lord than Thee

Never shall my heart entwine
The things the world would claim
Never shall my feet be still
But go and speak Thy Name

Never in a moment’s pride
May I forget my past
And seek a place among the proud
Whose righteousness won’t last

Never, Jesus, never
May I forget Thy love
Which ransomed me from hopelessness
Which I had been born of
Oh Jesus fill and use me
For great things or for small
I care not what the task may be
Just never let me fall
