CRY OF THE LONELY SOUL
ARE YOU SAD? ARE YOU BLUE? WEARY? FORLORN?
THEN PERHAPS THIS PAGE IS JUST FOR YOU....
My dreams of life is no different from what others around me say...
Still, I just go on living my useless life in and out each day.
Oh God! why don't YOU deliver me from this wearisome path I stray?
Take me to Your Bosom and hold me fast, I pray!
My days seem just so endless, nights are lonesome and so long.
In my heart there's no music...there is now no longer a song.
No more joy I once knew in living...all happiness now is gone.
I want to be with my Jesus...He alone can right each wrong!
I gaze into the lonely woods, where God's creatures come and go,
And listen to their chatter, as they flitter to and fro.
I look longingly up into the sky and watch the raindrops flow.
I wish that I were one of them..where I land...no one would know!
I feel so full of sadness and misery, tears wellup within my soul.
My life seems now but a shadow of a life that was once in control
By ONE who bled, suffered and died to make me free and whole.
Oh lonely heart! Stop beating! Your sadness has taken its toll.
Still....I know...
He knows my heart, and how deeply my sadness grows,
To share His love with others, for this one thing I know.
He loves them! He loves me! and He died as His head hung low.
"It is finished!", He cried..our sins were forgiven! He defeated every foe!!
