Peace and beauty always there
In my garden where I share.
My prayers and thanks to Him
For meeting me there again.
Omnipresent in my secret place
Sharing His love and Amazing Grace.
Resting in the arms of forever peace,
My soul’s yearnings can release.
Around me the world is all amiss
While I hide away in blessed bliss.
Where no harm or threats can come,
It’s just Jesus and I there alone.
Fragrance of blossoms in the air,
Birds chirping joy beyond compare.
Dew on the roses mist from above,
Containing droplets of purest love.
I feel the Holy Spirit witness in me,
Comfort and assurance is soon to be.
Why should I fret when I get low,
When I can come to my secret abode.
Joy in the morning is promised you see
Don’t worry over tomorrow, just be free.
Be free in the Spirit of Jesus our Lord,
Gaining the riches, He alone can afford.
Find in the word of our God,
The One who upon this earth trod.
His promises are true to the end,
Eternal life He offers, free from sin.
So if you need a place to hide,
Consider His Holy Spirit to abide,
He will comfort you and give ease,
To all your doubts and disbelief.
