| PERSPECTIVES
I know every inch of the ceiling above lying here wating for things to change. Wishing I could rise up and go inspite of the hardware used to arrange. Remembering the days when all was well not having to think about steps I'd take. Why am I bound here as if in jail? I try to be happy and good days make. There's one word that comes to view, I'm putting perspective on my case. Knowing I have no cause to intrude on pity or sadness, being in this place. I have to remind myself I am blessed Although satan wants to change my mind. He's just mad because I have confessed That living for Jesus is so divine. The Healer of all is mine today, and I'm confessing I'm well. I've touched the hem of His garment As did the woman in the crowd, I prevailed. In God's timing I will rise again, With no pain in my body to recall. It will come to pass and this I claim, Even if it's when Jesus comes for us all. My perspective on life is optimistic Where sadness, no pity belong I'm His child and thus realistic, I have a lift in my step, my heart has a song. If your perspective in life has changed Take time to stop and re think your plight Remember Jesus is there to arrange, A new perspective is taking flight. © Shy Barr May 28, 2007 |
