Misty colored raindrops fall,
Against my garden wall.
A rainbow of multiple hues,
Pinks and purples too.

The paler shades of light,
Impress upon my sight.
The gift of nature's flare,
The fragrance wafts the air.

Lavender blossoms embrace
Cubes of frilly lace.
Gently moving in the breeze,
With such simple ease.

Redeeming smell of lavender
A truthful reminder
Of younger days in time
Creeping in my mind.

Lovely thoughts of joy and play,
That made up my days.
With lavender colored dreams,
Of greater, lofty scenes.

That one day I would soar,
Freely it would pour.
The carefree winds of time,
Again to my mind.

Lavender smells so good,
And memories are understood,
As I drift away in thought,
Of the joy and feelings brought.

Proverbs 4: 19, 20
The LORD by wisdom hath founded the
earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.  By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
