| Don’t you love winter days?
Filled with fun and play… When the pond freezes hard, You build a bonfire in the yard. Everyone comes to skate, Hurry up! Don’t not be late! It can be so much fun, Even when there is no sun. Snow flakes falling…. Winter time is calling. Bundle up warm and snug Put hot chocolate in a mug. Children laughing everywhere, Christmas signs fill the air. Thanksgiving’s come and gone, Decorations fill our home. Tinsel, lights and mistletoe, All decked out for the show. Waiting now for Christmas eve, For all those who believe. Long ago on a wintry night, The sky put forth a bright light. The shepherds saw and gathered round, The manger there in Bethlehem town. Boy, I love this time of year Full of love, fun and cheer. Celebrate the newborn King, Skate around the pond and sing. On this another wintry day, Having fun come what may.
