| A LOVE THAT SPEAKS |
| There are all kinds of love Love that shows you care, And love that is selfish And hard to share. Love can be complicated Or love can be simple, Love can be all inspiring And love can be daring. How Great the love That Jesus gives Richest of all from above Love in our hearts that live. The price he gave was high Ultimate sacrifice was made A love that I can't buy Because the price was paid. A love that speaks Right into my heart A love that's never weak It has so much to impart. A story it tells To all who will listen Of a flowing well Of water that glistens. Filling up every part Of my heart and soul To overflowing, thou art Making me free and whole. Washing away the deepest sin Cleansing inside and out Giving you new life again Makes you want to shout. This love that speaks Listen and hear, "Come home, don't weep. I'll dry your every tear." Jesus is calling today His love is eternal There's no fading away His love is supernal. Won't you come today? Let His love speak to you, Showers of blessings await His love carries you through. Written by Shirley Barr October 27, 2003 (Revised 1/3/05) |
