| There are so many reasons for me to be thankful this year. My life has changed greatly and the Lord has brought so many wonderful and gracious christians into my life. I started out this year with sadness, because of health problems I had to give up one of my greatest passions in life. That is playing organ for my church. I also miss teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. Then one day, a dear friend encouraged me to open a website, because I had sent her a few poems that I had written. She has been writing for years and has been published on many Christian sites on the internet. The idea appealed to me, so I started out at a place that was easy for me to do. Then I realized what had happened, ONE door had been closed for me and my precious and loving Father had opened another. Immediately, I began writing more and more and the site was quickly filling up. Another very dear friend encouraged me to open another site that was more difficult, yet more versatile, so here I am almost 10 months later. I want to take the opportunity on this my first Thanksgiving on the internet, to first of all thank my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ for loving me and helping me along the way. No matter the pain or discomfort, he has instilled in me this desire to work for HIM, and in the process He has given me more blessings than my cup can hold. As the song goes, I am drinking from my saucer now, AMEN. I also want to thank each one of you who visit my website weekly and send such encouraging emails and lift up so many prayers for me.
