| LIFE GOES ON |
| On our back deck we have some families, There are the rain frogs, who have their places. And then there are lizards of many species But the cutest is nested in their abode, waiting to raise. She laid the tiny eggs several weeks ago And back and forth she would fly to nest. Now they all hatched with beaks all open Waiting to see who mother will feed next. We keep a watchful eye, and do our best to stay away, To not disturb, their little home she tenderly cares. We are waiting and watching for the day When they will spread their tiny wings and fly away. We hope they will be a success, and live to outgrow the nest. But sometimes we have a furry friend who comes by, The feline persuasion who would try her best. So hopefully they will stay quiet and safe and fly. The miracle of nature is such an awesome site. Did you know that your relatives came to land in an ark? And that the humble dove went out to look for life. To let Noah know it was drying up and safe to embark. All the lizards, little frogs, and baby birdies too, All relatives of Noah's cargo that came through the flood. And now are safe and have the world to view. To find that perfect home to raise their young blood. Our Father makes provision for us as well you know. By giving His Son to shed His blood to free us from sin. Just like Noah sacrificed to obey the will he was shown. And now we have all this wonderful nature to apprehend. Written by Shirley Barr July 3, 2004 All Rights Reserved PAGE BY SHY |
