MY HOME OF FAITH
A house is built of wood and nails, Brick and mortar, windows and rails. Doors and hinges to close it in, To keep out rain, storms, and wind.
First of all, comes the plans, From the foundation up, walls stand. Some architect with great designs, Puts the instructions on the line.
The master builders start to construct, And before you know it, all is up. Ready for you to occupy, And maybe live there until you die.
This is a home made by man, not according to THE MASTER's plan Our home with HIM is built from start And it is raised within our hearts.
This plan was made at Calvary, When he gave His blood for me. His Father turned his head away, When the carpenter died that day.
Salvation's plan was set in place, For our sins, He would erase, To give us freedom to choose, To have a new home, or to lose.
It didn't have to be that way, God could have chose to let us stray And not give us opportunity, To live a life from sin set free.

So in our heart is built a home, Of love and mercy with faith alone. We have no vision of what it is, It's built on faith and righteousness
There are no payments or balance due Just read His word inside of you, Let it become your master plan, To eternal life, in a new land.
There are no insurance premiums, But blessed assurance of life to come So until the time to go is here, I will live in my home with Jesus near. Written by Shirley Barr July 31, 2004 All Rights Reserved
Matthew 7: 25 ~ And the rain descended , and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not; for it was founded on a ROCK.
