| PEACEFUL FALLS |
![]() |
| Listen to the hush of the streams As down the mountain it falls Creating a cool sweet mist Of refreshing spray that covers all. But, alas, it is not a hush at all You hear the rushing roar That comes from the majestic falls It takes you on the quiet soar. The mountain peaks dip and rise Some shaped like mansions you see While others are small in size Reminds you of Father's MAJESTY Peace is found there so easily You want to stay forever and a day Upon the highest ridge I would be To capture all of the display. The soothing sound of rushing water Caught up in the vapors that rise To be there would not be a bother Leave me there until my surmise And then I will soar like the eagle Who has been nestled in his nest We'd both take flight so regal And I would go to my eternal rest Never again to feel an ache or pain Always strong and agile I will be Taking walks with the ONE ..... Who gave this precious gift to me. But for now, I can listen to the hush And enjoy the peaceful sounds Of a rushing, roaring waterfalls As down the mountains it abounds.
