| THE GREATEST LOVE |
| Who hangs the stars at night,
who tells the moon when to shine? The Master of the universe Has the secrets of all mankind; wrapped up in a neat package, for every one to find. All you have to do is look, To find what life is all about; Open the Bible and there so bold, are the words there to be told. Before your very eyes, The message begins to unfold. There are no secrets, In His holy word; Only hidden treasures. They were written by God above, And men of earth long ago. Explore the verses, give HIM a chance; To show you truth, compassion and love. I have found the word is simple, for my mind and heart to see; God in His wisdom has it laid out, A plan for man and family; Directions of what it's all about. Invite this man of Galilee to live in your heart, And He will to you His word impart. All my life of emptiness and strife, The missing parts of my younger life; Were unfolded and laid out for me, When I welcomed Him into my heart To abide with me eternally, Like I should have from the start. This is the GREATEST LOVE that anyone can find; He is always beside me regardless of when I fail. The future in this world, can seem somewhat pale But I have the author, Of the GREATEST LOVE there is to tell. © Shirley Barr June 16, 2003 I John 4:16, 19 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.
