| ~ WELCOME AUTUMN ~ |
| Hello autumn, it's about time you arrived It's been a long hot summer, but I survived. Mosquitoes, flies, and other annoying pest But it was the beautiful flowers I loved best You are my favortie time you know, With leaves turning colors, red, and gold Catching the sun's brilliant glow Waiting to float away, when it turns cold. The air is so fresh as it brushed your face Making you ask, is this the same place? The place where the air was so thick and hot And you ask yourself, was it here or not. Oh autumn, I'm so glad you appeared, Bring such a feeling of wonderment and cheer All that is left now is for winter's cold, And the first frost bite to nibble my toes. |
| The old north wind begins to blow All the colors of autumn around in a show. The time for raking will soon be here A time for burning leaves and spreading cheer. The beauty of the first winter snow, Makes you have faith in all that you know That God has created such a beautiful sight That he will keep you all through the cold nights. Alas, we find that every year seasons change, We never know if next year will be the same The ozone layer in the atmosphere Is almost gone, it has disappeared. We can hope that winter is kind And the spring that follows will come on time. The summer months last longer each year But for now we will enjoy what's here. The changes in seasons that nature calls The love of life, the renewal of all Let's put a spring in our step, learn to accept We thank Thee Lord for blessings indepth.
