| High above the elements of misty cloud and blue. Where big birds fly Powered by sonic cruise. The heavens await For changes to come. Dark clouds will appear And cover the sun. The hot will meet the cold and build up pressure, Soon you will be showered With a refresher. Grasses and flowers, Fields and crops. Taking advantage of each precious drop. Absorbing the wetness Into their core, Wanting the Heavens To send even more. But, alas, does appear A bright light coursing down Forcing it's rays through, Raindrops to the ground. Oh what a prism of colors Stream across the sky, End to end with streaks of hue For the eye to spy. Rainbows, the gift After showers pass by Where do they end, As they arch across the sky? Some believe in fairy tales That pots of gold they yield, But I in turn deny the farse, And believe in something real. God in all His wisdom Creates the elements design. If rainbows do have an end, A miracle you will find. Every display of Heavenly forces, Were place there for us To believe in our Creator And give Him all our trust. So when you see a rainbow, And try to see the end. Then think about where it starts, A rainstorm turns to blend. The colorful streaks of Faith, A promise to fulfill. Rainbows never end they are Reminders to us still. Reflections of God's love for us, Are all around to see. Not just in words we read, But also in things that be. Marvelous examples Of what Heaven is to become Are the colors of a rainbow, Streaking through the sun.
