As we're growing older and our time draws near,
If you know Jesus as your Savior there's no need to fear.
All the sickness, sorrow and pain will be left behind,
There'll be no more worry to cloud your mind,

No more hospitals or nursing homes in which to stay,
Doctor visits, medicines, or any bills to pay.
No groceries to buy; hunger will be a thing of the past,
Nothing will matter anymore for we are home at last.

In heaven there'll be no wheelchairs, walkers or canes,
No oxygen tanks, hearing aids, glasses, no one will be lame.
There'll be nothing in heaven to tempt you to stray
Because you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus one day.

He paid our sin debt on Calvary shedding His precious blood so dear,
And all that was required from us was faith to bring us here.
There's a lot about heaven that I just don't know,
But I'll find out one day for I am surely going to go.

It will be wonderful to meet Jesus face to face
And thank Him personally for His love, mercy and grace.
I look forward to seeing loved ones who have gone on before,
And probably disappointment at some who didn't go thru Heaven's door.

If you're trusting in your works or goodness to get you there,
And you've not been washed in Jesus blood, you don't have a prayer.
When you draw that last breath everything will be a thing of the past,
Will you be able to say, "Thank you Lord, I'm home at last?"
