| She always had a musical side
and most times a song did abide. I remember well her alto voice it seemed to be her pitch of choice. We blended well when we tried and sometimes we laughed until we cried. She loved piano but didn't play I told her that she would someday. She didn't own a piano at the time the thoughts of playing left her mind. Until by chance there came a "lift" When a piano was delivered as a gift. The yearning to play quickly returned she was now determined to learn. With joy in her heart she found a book reading it over and over with many looks. The notes on the page soon became clear as she played them I'd give her a cheer. Soon her repertoire was quite vast she was so happy to be playing at last. We both knew that God had provided her piano and this ability in her life. She didn't profess a relationship with Him I often prayed that one would begin. Her favorite song was "Amazing Grace" It seemed her fingers were all over the place. We loved to sing the verses about His love and how He was sent to us from above. A couple of years before she left us she did indeed in His GRACE trust. Praying the prayer with tears on her face "Forgive me God and help my faith." "Amazing Grace" became even more real as Jesus helped day by day my heart to heal. My heart ached for those days in the past, "When I heard my SIS play the piano at last!" © Shy Barr June 21, 2009 |

| The picture above was the last one of my sister and I taken together. She lost her battle with cancer on March 13, 2008 and she really enjoyed playing her piano. |
