WISHING YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS! !
Two thousand nine, Christmas day;
Will be time for gifts and a joyous display,
Family and friends join together once more.
To celebrate love and the son Mary bore.
There will be turkey and ham to eat;
Veggies, bread and quite a few treats.
Thanks will be given to the Father above;
For the birth long ago, His gift of love.
For Jesus was born in Bethlehem fair;
While the donkey and cattle rested there.
The inn was full on that starry night;
As the child was born, the source of light.
Light into a world of sin and shame;
Who would bring peace and joy to claim.
Rejoice Ye Now, it's Jesus' Birthday;
A glorious time His love to display.
From my house to yours on Christmas day;
My love I send to all in a big way.
May all your wishes for a day that's blessed;
Be sent to you with sweet peace and rest.
