How do I begin to express
this love that is so great?
Millions of words, papers,
pens could never relate;
This awesome feeling
of profound love that I possess,
Never could there ever be
another love so great to assess.
The marvelous grace
He bestows upon us always,
The majesty of His greatness
around us He displays.
Can you tell just how you felt
the night He set you free?
The heavy load of sins,
that He carried to Calvary.
A love so great beyond all measure,
deeper than the seas,
Higher than the tallest peaks
of any mountain seen.
His love is so huge,
that you can't go around it,
You can't go through it,
how then can you describe it?
Many men have written songs
about His great love,
But none will know the fullness
until we go above.
The pen has written words
that were carefully chosen,
Not wanting to remiss
His love for us and be foreboding.
For thousands of years
we have been told,
By apostles, preachers,
teachers and men of old.
That there will be a day
when all men shall face,
The King of Kings, the Lord of all,
when He comes to this place.
Oh yes, my LORD is coming
back to earth again one day,
To set up our heavenly Kingdom,
and yet men still say;
No need to worry
or believe in such things,
Where I ask will they be,
when those bells begin to ring?
Do you know that you'll be ready
when the trumpet sounds?
Do you know the love of Jesus
and how sweet and profound?
I know that I cannot describe
the fullness of the love,
I do know without acceptance,
you won't make it above.
The wages of sin is death,
the gift of forgiveness, eternal life.
I know enough about His love
that I am consumed with His Light.
He gave you an awesome love
that cannot be contained within;
If you could you would tell everyone
about the wages of sin.
