Oh, mist of the night
On bended ear
The call of bliss
I now can hear
T'was once in darkness
My face was veiled
It's touch so vivid
As though in hell
My heart cried out
To the void all around
It searched for peace
And could not be found
Then to the pages
Of the universal word
My eyes did search
and my soul finally heard
No need to wallow
Keep it all at bay
The message is clear
Just speak and say
Peace in your fear
Love fills the void
Reach out and touch
Turn to the LORD
Now in the mist
Of the darkest night
I feel no fear
Everything is alright ! ! !
