It was two years ago...
on Thanksgiving Day.
Blessings were multiplied
in more than one way.
It was all in God's plan
To make this holiday
More special than ever
"Thank you God", We all say! !
A tiny, beautiful girl
With dark hair and blue eyes
Jesus shared with us all
Bringing much joy to our lives.
Her survival was unsure
A daily vigil we kept.
There were days we cried
and days our hearts leapt
It seems like a long time
Our faith remained strong
Then the day we prayed for
Finally came along.
It's hard to realize
That she's two already
She's rambunctious and coy
A rough and go freddy.
She's delightful and smart
With cute little moves....
Loves to be dressed up
With many beautiful views.
Every day is Thanksgiving
In her family and home
Jesus loves her dearly
We thank Him for the loan.
Her sweet life to Him we give
As we teach her of His love
Her birthday number "2"
Is another gift from above.
Happy Birthday, little Taylor
We love you so very much
Each and every day is special
Our hearts you surely touch.
