| Time to Spend
On earth there is limited time to spend, and its proper usage will all depend on selections we make and how we choose to determine importance of moments we use. There’s a time for birth, when we appear-- and start our earthly sojourn here. There’s time to grow, and time to learn, just what to accept and what to spurn. There is time for laughter, time for tears, a time for joy and time for fears. There is time for courage, time for pain, Time for sunshine, time for rain. Ere to that time we all expect— the time to die—can we reflect? Will life on earth be but a crumb of the heavenly bread of life to come? Should we attempt to understand Whence we have come, what is God’s plan? Should we give thought to eternal goals, and how we best can nourish our souls? I cannot accept it’s God’s intent to limit my life to time here spent. I believe a more glorious life will be on the other side—in Eternity. © Shelby Forrest 2008 Revelations 22: 12, 13, 14 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
